New Board Members
The Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome two (2) new Board Members to steward its mission for the future.
We sincerely welcome:
Stephen Wagner, MSW, LCSW, RPT
Mr. Wagner is the Chief Learning Officer for Children & Adult Disability & Education Services (CADES). A former Executive Director of a Human Services organization he has a mind for operations, with the heart and lens of a clinician. With a deep understanding of child development and family systems he founded Bridge to Connection, LLC. He built this on the principles of Trauma Informed Care. Working with caregivers and professionals to enhance knowledge and skills of building healthy, strong relationships. Stephen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist.
Sandeep Naik, MBA
Mr. Naik is an accomplished leader with 20+ years of diverse experience in creating and implementing technology solutions in healthcare and finance industries. With a computer engineering background, Sandeep is seasoned in leading organizations, managing large and complex programs and guiding businesses through organizational and structural change.
“Steve and Sandeep are the perfect blend of incremental diversity to our Board” said Gregg Shaffer, President – Board of Trustees. “Their skill sets, passion for children and community, and volunteer Board expertise will be instrumental in transforming CCFA into our new norm of living and learning.”
Kathleen Bruce, MA
Kathleen Bruce, MA
Kathleen is a PDE-certified educator and administrator. She has taught French, English, Algebra, Reading, and Social Studies at the elementary and secondary grade levels in the public, private, and charter school environments and has also served as a school Principal. Kathleen resides in Chester County and is currently a Doctoral Candidate pursuing her Ed.D from Immaculata University.
“Hello CCFA! I am really excited to be beginning my part for this amazing school board and school community. I am
looking forward to having the opportunity to meet many of the students and families just as
soon as possible. Stay safe and keep being great!,” Kathleen said.
Albert (“Al) Leary
Al has twenty years of experience as a corporate executive, holding senior business unit leadership positions in diverse technology services businesses. He is particularly adept at building customer focused organizations that come together to serve customers and make a difference. Al and his family have a personal experience that highlights the critical importance of early elementary education and motivates him to want to help others.
“I am so excited to join the Chester County Family Academy as a
member of the Board of Trustees. I look forward to working alongside
Tara, her faculty, and staff to make a difference for our young students
during these most important early elementary school years,” Al said.
